Patio3D is aware of every structural detail in the ICC-ESR reports.
Such as:
- For on-slab installations, the reaction force at each post must not exceed 750 lbf, as required by the building code.
- The maximum side overhang can’t exceed 25% of the post spacing.
- The maximum panel or rafter overhang can’t exceed 25% of the clear span.
- At least one horizontal dimension (projection or width) of Freestanding covers shall be less than 30'.
- A minimum 3.5' concrete slab is required with constrained footings.
- Footings are required if the patio's width is less than 100% of its projection up to C150, or less than 110–120% at higher wind loads.
- When a constrained footing is required, the larger uplift or constrained footing from the header is used.
